Easy. Its natural selection.A large proportion(not all!!) of women want the best mate ie the male who all other women judge as the most attractive and most likely to give them attractive children. These women face stiff competiton to get mates ,and this inturn drives them to take bigger risks to get them.As these men are usually taken then the women compete to displace eachother. If the guys not married or has not got a girlfriend then he is not judged to be worthy material and will be left alone, why bother with what nobody else wants. The same is true for women.A large proportion of men will compete for beautiful women, and rich or good looking guys usually stand the best chance of winning. The truth is a single male can father as many kids as he can find women who will let him.A woman can only have so many children and in this day and age where one or two are the norm the woman wants the best. Its risk verses reward.
Surveys of speed dating revealed that out of thirty males less than twenty percent scored significantly. When the women got together to discuss who they thought was the best and recast their votes less than five percent got any dates.Women significantly influence eachother verbally hence the proliferation of fashion ,celebrity and lifestyle mags.

anyways

Some women like what they can't have, they love married man it's cause of the challenge, adrenaline and more desirable. At some point females start getting really insecure about not having a husband so they go on to married men for comfort.

I really don't think this is true, thinking of my personal experience and all the people I have known over the years.
But if I was looking for an answer could prove you right, I'd say the biological imperative to find a suitable mate. If someone is already taken it must mean they have the potential to be a good mate.
Also we are less restricted by social conventions now in the west, so there is more opportunity without the down side of, say, being stoned to death.
Interesting question.

because sometimes its the men that flirt. They know they are safe and taken care of in a relationship so they think they can afford to flirt a little, play stupid games with women, tease them and then go home to their partners. If then men didn't give any vibes to women and have sexual banter with them the women would get a clear understanding that this man is not on the market and then she would stay away. Although she might just be a tart and thick skinned!!!

Competition, challenge, married/taken men seem desirable also because they have a 'seal' of approval. Some women get off on seducing taken men. I'm not saying it doesn't take two to tango though.

I wouldn't say it's only women that fall into this category and I wouldn't say it was "most" either. Men will often persue women who are attached too. It's the simple human fact that we always want something that we can't have and it's a challenge. Often, you find that you didn't really want the person after all and that it was pure infatuation of the unattainable.

Caesar's Wife must be above suspicion - is the proverb and in relation to women's behaviour,Women's are kind hearted too.
Women who instead of at once rejecting advances , deliberates whether to do so ,will end by yielding. In short They are all lovely and kind but foolish too which is why sometimes there is no justification to their action. So what you say is right.

I find this married man at my work very sexually attractive.

Its the whole 'naughty and restrictive' thing. If a man is taken - it makes him much more sexually appealing because its a no go zone. Its a challenge.

Going for married men means you personally have nothing to lose. Its not you thats going to get hurt... This sounds harsh but its true. You know where you stand. Its risky and just plain fun!

Getting that naughty feeling, gets me so sexually aroused for this man at work (he is 40 and I am 25).

Speaking of which..I havent come onto him yet. I know he likes me..by the way he glares at me. Should I make the first move?

Knight in Shining Armor complex would work, but the woman not being happy in her own marriage I would make her a little damaged too. She should expect someone to always come in to make her life better. Actually you could build up her past so this is what she has done in her past. I would also make the husband terminal, but also a former "Knight in Shining Armor" just with the life experience to know some people just can't be happy.

Is because the men who have these affairs are often out for all they can get and will lie, charm and connive there way into a woman's heart...panties.... or whatever. Women should always steer clear from men who are spoken for for 2 reasons... female solidarity and the simple fact that the men who are willing to have affairs are not worth having.
