find a protractor...
draw the upper arc...
invert the protractor and draw another arc (connecting it to the earlier drawing...
draw a straight line between the points of connection...
divide the lines equally (18 points to be exact)
draw a straight vertical line from each point...
also, draw a straight line from peak of each arc...
divide the line by 18 points equally...
you now created the latitude & longitude...
create patches or sketches of land (either green of brown in color), you now have the continents (countries, etc...)
draw blue all over remaining uncolored ones... you now have your ocean...

start with your map not globe, and draw it with transparant paper
