Freeze and break it off. Remove the rest with nail varnish remover.

you need an acetone based product like nail varnish remover

White spirit will dilute it ... paint thinners.

try vinegar... its my solution to everything.... look it up.... I'm sure there's a type of vinegar that will remove it for you..
