I feel your pain I have the same problem except mine is evryday all day. I would try talking to a friend when you feel this way sometimes that helps and if it keeps happening go to your doctor and explain whats going on and the doc should put you on some anti depressants like prozac, zoloft or paxil. If those do not help go back to your doc and tell him and maybe he can suggest a counselor or therapist for you to see. I write my feelings down in a journal or a blog that may also help you get through it too. Do something you enjoy to get your mind off of things. When I get down inthe dumps I sometimes start heavy duty clenaing the house it makes me forget it and by the time im exhausted and want to go to sleep.

When that happens to me, I pray to God to help me shake this feeling. Prayer does help. Try really hard not to let yourself go down that way. Maybe buy a good self help book at the bookstore. There are so many good ones that really do help, you know. Think about all the things you have to be grateful for, like your health, your family, your job, the fact that you live in America etc. That always snaps me out of my depression. And always remember, somebody else always has it worse. Hope I helped a little, at least?

This is exactly the way I feel. It is a doomed feeling. I try so hard to be uplifted by my religious beliefs but reality of life sets in and steals away all the happiness and joy. When there are factors to life that are presented in a way that detracts rather than adds to completeness and enhancement and you have no support either, depression takes over and overwhelms one to the fullest. Hope is found only when life is completed by love.......

what defines the measure of a person is how they deal with this hopeless feeling on a daily basis. everyone at some time or another feels hopeless and depressed. but if you want to measure up to anything in life you need to push thhese feelings out of your head and find a goal for yourself.

persevere: To persist in or remain constant to a purpose, idea, or task in the face of obstacles or discouragement.
Definition: work hard
Synonyms: be determined, be resolved, be stubborn, carry on, continue, die hard, endure, get on, go on, hang in*, hang on, hang tough*, hold fast*, hold on, hold out, keep at, keep driving*, keep going, keep on, maintain, persist, plug away*, press on, proceed, pursue, remain, stand firm*, stick it, stick to
In order to 'persevere' you need to have a goal! Try some new things, maybe? I get stuck in a 'rut' sometimes and everything seems hopeless & futile but then I find something to keep me occupied, find a goal to pursue. SMALL things, please - even small successes will help boost your confidence.
Another way to help your confidence & outlook is to sit down & list all the good things that have happened to you (no matter how tiny!) and most especially to list all the things you're good at. This is very important - you are good at some things (hey, you're a good speller!)
Another way is to try to respond to the people around you in a different way than what you're doing - are you very negative toward people? You have a choice.
As with yourself, try to see the good in others because what you see in others is often a reflection of what you see in yourself.

Yes, but at the end of the day God is there for me to show me the way. There are a lot of difficult things in this life but there is only one source of all this things. Life is meaningless and sad without the author of it, which is God. Hope I helped you.

You need to get out and experience more things.
I felt that way for the longest time.
I just started forgetting my woes, and went out.
I met a great guy whom is worth every moment I breath.
YOU have to make it more happier and fulfulling.
What you do, depicts the way your life is.

yes. i feel this almost constantly. i take medications for it, but i don't find they work especially well, though others have had great success with them. seek counseling; there are likely free sources, in your area. if desperate call 911 (or your local police hotline) or ask information (411, wherever, in america, i've been) to connect you to a suicide hotline. they will have further resources with which to help you.

Sounds to me like you lack a good sex partner. My husband and I are not together right now and I feel this way every night!
