Petrol and engine oils are considered hazard substances. Whether your tank is full or empty the residue will still be present. Therefore, it is considered to be flammable and explosive. So it has to be stored in a separate room or construction that is not attached to your your place of residence or work.

yes it is 100% illegal to keep a motorcycle in a flat this due to health n safety and also the bike is a fire hazord an then theres the fumes from the petrol ect ect for more info why not contact your local fire bigade station if you dont know where ur local fire station is check with www.yell.com they will have it listed

Yes it is, because it as petrol in the tank, I would try making it secure with chains. Outside for your safety and the other people that live in the other flats.

Yes this is correct as it constitutes a fire hazard, a former neighbour of mine was taken to court because he refused to remove his motorbike from his flat. And he was evicted and also fined £300

Nope. Go ahead and keep it there. As long as you don't run it, keep the floor underneath it clean, and don't open the petrol tank, you should be ok.

Probably, depends on your contract. Most have clauses preventing you keeping certain dangerous things in you place. I'm not allowed an oil burning stove.

Depends on the contract you signed. It should be in there if it is to be illegal. Even normal bikes may be illegal.
