Why does this question ALWAYS come up? At least 4 times a day, someone asks it!
OK, YES it is real. The matches are PRE-DETERMINED. As in, they know how it's going to end and they know a few key parts in the match. But honestly, how can you FAKE falling from a 20-foot ladder? You can't, eh? They really DO hit each other and all, but the other wrestlers KNOW it's going to happen, so they brace themselves a bit, which is why it doesn't hurt them as much (and the fact that they are real ATHLETES, with real skill!). The story lines are MOSTLY fake, though, but that's what makes it a good story!
Any real WWE fan would know that.

Well, I know that the constant slams on their backs is real. I talked to a guy that does it and he said that even though a lot of people think it is fake, there is a lot of injuries they do suffer from the abuse to their bodies.It catches up to them as they continue to go right back and injure themselves over and over.Back problems never go away for long.

i have a friend in pro wrestling and he knows it's real cause he wrestled george (the animal) steele. in a match and he was soar all over the next day but to be honest it is hard to put in words but here goes all of it is real but you have to know how to calculate certian moves or someone will get hurt like being paralized. and of couse the story lines are fake it's what makes it cool as heck to watch (it's better then watching a bunch of moronic rednecks go around in a frickin circle).

No it's not real. It's scripted and rehearsed. Hence Sports 'Entertainment' not Sports Competition.

It's fake.Imagine a man after dying returns .And he is material.
He wrestles,he takes beatings from others and even gets defeated by humans.

The fights are real but every thing is fixed. Imagine two greatest foes teaming up. strane isnt it.
