A series of events, starting when you were born and ending when you die. You can view life as a book. The first years you are learning, this is the introduction. As you grow older the story of your life unfolds itself, this is the actual book. When you are in your "twilight years" you have your memories and hindsight , thus making it comparable to the epilogue.
