In the interest of letting people understand some reptiles more, I post this question for you. I do know the answer to it and I wonder how many people know this answer also.
What sound do turtles make if they do speak? Or do they not make any sounds?

Turtles do not HEAR- other than sensing vibration, so it only makes sense that they do not do much in the way of vocalizations. It does not help that they don't have vocal cords!
However, they do make noises. During aggression, courtship, mating, egg-laying and similar situations, most turtles and tortoises make some sort of noise.
The noises are basically a noisy breathing. They range from hisses and almost moaning, to a pig-like grunting, and even an almost chicken like 'cluck'.

Hi,
Yes, they don't talk nor sing, but they do groan.. I noticed when
my dauther had a small turtle.... I believe that the large ones have a stronger groan... Some experts could tell you better I suppose, but here little knowledge...lol....

I'm sure they do! And they understand English (they are not bilingual yet), when spoken to. When we say the word "worm" they get very excited and come to the top of the water to be fed! Our turtles are two red ear sliders and one yellow eared slider.

Maybe they use a frequency higher than humans hearing range, just like bats.
