Sure they can!
But if the taller woman has a mentality that tells her:
A) A shorter male mate is undesireable because he can't protect her and can't provide for her (in a hunter-gatherer way).
B) A shorter boyfriend is an embarassment.
Then no, it wouldn't work.
I imagine that the relationship dynamic between a small man and a large woman would be reversed from the traditional roles of household dominance.

well i do relate to this question cause i married one.he's like 5'2 or maybe less and i'm 5'4 and a half and we have been together for 3yrs and married two.we just had baby 4months ago and everything is okay with us.i mean yes we are like totally diffrent but i guess that's what made us closer.ever since i met him i never really noticed the diffrence in our height.and personally i never cared what other people thought either.i ignored them completely.

If they love each other.
For example, Katie Holmes is taller than Tom Cruise, but nothing can make them apart because thay love each other.

Why not? My sister did. She is almost a foot taller than her husband of 25 years. It worked out great for them. Plus they look so cute together, her being so much taller than him.

yes ! hight shouldn't matter ! like me and my ex bf ! we have known each other for 10 yrz ! and whent out for 4 yrz strate and off and on ever sence ! but now he is a lil taller than me ! he will grow taller ! trust me !
