Pop in germany is called the Deutsche Welle and it started with Nena and her 99 Luftballons from 1989. It's not just traditional "POP" by American standards...it includes rap like Xavier Naidoo, and even country artists like Texas Lightening.
Here's a quick list off the top of my head.
Nena
Sylvermund
Julie
Xavier Naidoo
Harold Gronemyer
Mike Leon Grolsch
No Angels
Yvonne Catterfeld
Tobias Regner
Texas Lightening
each one should have their own site...otherwise try google.de
Radio stations like FFH, HR3, Planet Radio might also have connective links...FFH probably has the most "pop".
Good luck!

Pop is pop for a reason. song is a sort of paintings, no longer all and sundry going to love the comparable situation, yet there is not any song that sucks, its basically categories. If each little thing became the comparable, that'd be form of uninteresting. pay attention to what you opt for for to take heed to. there is not any longer something incorrect with taking area in pop song. i like my honest proportion of dad.
