limewire was the best at a time as it started p2p.
but now there are other with better speed like bearshare pro.
java takes few minutes to download

Yes! It is so fast, and you can search for any type of media. I love it! But, you have to make sure you have a lot of space on your computer, or just delete the songs after you have added them to something else. They take up a lot of room on your computer's memory.
