Do it. You already have a good QB in Palmer, so that's not an issue. You don't seem to have a go-to RB, so Portis would solve that problem. I think this could do nothing to hurt your team, only make it better.

My gut says no.
The Texans NOT picking Bush is an indication they are very happy with D. Davis, and should be because his production was great. Portis ended the year strong, but look at a magazine and see where the two are ranked against one another. Portis also has potential to put up game after game of duds. I had him and can attest to it.
Bulger is much better than Brooks, with far greater upside and predictability.
Bottom line, get more value in the trade. Brooks is practically a zero.

ABSOLUTELY DO IT. Portis is a top 5 Fantasy Player. Look at it this way, all you're doing is trading Domenick Davis for Portis. Marc Bulger is your backup QB, you'll only be using him in the case Palmer doesn't start on time due to his injury or gets injured and/or during the Bengals bye week. Make the deal, Portis is much better than Davis.

I think your team is somewhat weak and Portis is a top back in the NFL so for your best interests, make the deal.
Look at it this way, Bulger would be your starter for the first month of the season probably but Brooks has a downfield threat in Moss in Oakland so he could put avg numbers up. But you really need a good RB and Portis is a significant upgrade on Davis.
Good luck to you.

Yeah I would do it just because Bulger is your back up though. Brooks sucks and Portis is VERY inconsistent. I had him last year, it was very frustrating. I'd rather have dominick come to think of it.

Dont think you should take Brooks man....he will SUCK BIG TIME in the AFC West. Everyone has gotten better defensively and The Turds go out and get Brooks...???!!! Portis is has been rated quite highly behind the top 3 RB (LT, LJ and SA)...so keep him. I would flat out reject the trade.

Sounds good but, what do you really get out of it. He seems to be needing a QB, and maybe strong at RB. Make yourself stronger with Clinton yeah but loose strength with loosing Bulger, What WR does he have you don't look so hot right there.
