I assume you mean "apparent" diameter. The very fact that we have solar eclipses indicates that they are almost the same. Sometimes, during total eclipse, there is a tiny rim around the sun, because the moon doesn't completely block it out. But usually the moon is slightly larger. The odds of them being "apparently" as close as they are for us Earthlings are astronomically tiny! It almost makes you want to believe in God, doesn't it?

The sunlight is way significantly better.. "The sunlight's diameter is a million.4 million kilometers (870,000 miles). yet to maximum folk, that still would not supply them an appreciation of the sunlight's length. The sunlight is enormous compared to different gadgets contained in the photo voltaic gadget! it truly is so huge it incredibly is money owed for ninety 9.9% of all the count number contained in the photo voltaic gadget. actually, the sunlight is so vast that if it were hollow, you may better healthful over a million Earth's interior it! " "compared with the satellites of different planets of the photo voltaic gadget, The Moon is a large Moon with a diameter of 3476 km and a mass of seven.349E+22 kg kg. The Moon is an accepted distance of 384400 km from Earth and completes its revolution of Earth in 27.32 days." So.. the guy who reported the sunlight is almost a basketball and the moon a baseball.. no longer even close. if the sunlight were a basketball, the moon could be a lot in the route of the dimensions of a grain of sand than a baseball, the earth does no longer also be as tremendous as a golfing ball on that scale, and the earth is almost 2 a million/2 circumstances the dimensions of the moon!
