Just curious as to if this is possible. Would I have to worry about someone stealing my card, copying it, and then charging my account with their own calls? Can I have a back up of my own sim card in case I lose my phone I can have a back up ready to go?

I fly a lot with British airways and the they have a magazine called high life. In the shopping section is a device called a sim reader that can store up to 500 contacts copied across from your sim. You can then back up your numbers on another sim card

Is it possible, I'm sure there is a way. But, it will not work on different wireless accounts with different cell #'s. The numbers are unique for a reason, to identify the customer, cell #, and associated account number. Basically, it makes cloning impossible.
