i do agree with ya........... never ever understood wat's the difference between rock and braking a car... tried to enjoy it a wee little bit, but decided against self torture!

Metal isn't just noise, if you listen to a wide range of it there are alot of soft metal songs besides,if you turn it down it wouldn,t exactly be metal anymore.Anyway the reason is because it gets your adrenaline going and the lyrics are real. they speak about all aspects of life,religion,emotion ect. the feeling in metal is more real to me than that of any other genre. that and i love to headbang while i play guitar.

It's something a lot of people can relate to. The extremes of any emotion. There's nothing like getting yourself lost in a metal song. It's meaningful and beautiful if you really listened. It's not superficial like pop, rap, electronica etc...

The fact is that it's not noise!
It's the only music nowadays that uses brilliant melodies &
harmonies in it besides classical!
And I think some people just don't get it...They have a filter on their brain that refuses metal without any reason!
I think you should get rid of that filter...

it's really not just noise. the song tries to send a msg to ppl that listen to it, through the lyrics and the music. u gotta listen to rock to understand it.

eh..??? what a question you have...it not a noise! it is an emotion that the band is trying to tell the listeners you know,... it is their feelings toward something... about love.. pain.. hate... suffering... christian destruction and ohters...!! try to open your heart, your mind and your ears.. and you will see and hear that you called "noise" but actually it has a meaning
