That's like asking should people fear themselves?

Government is supposed to be by the people for the people.

As it slowly transformed itself into something different (today), we see a big gap between those who are in government and those being governed.

Well the government is SUPPOSE to fear the people, BUT unfortunately nowadays I think the majority of the people fear the government!

In true Democracy like most of Europe Governments fear we the people. In the USA the Government fear lobbiest of the few not the ppl of the USA

Neither, the government should OF the people, BY the people, and FOR the people.., and people shouldn't have to fear one another.

When this country was established,the Founding Fathers thought of the same thing. That's what an Attorney General is for.The Attorney General is the umbrella that shields the people from retaliation from the government,wether federal or state.
