I think the planet would be OK. My concern would be the sneak attack from behind, LOL!! I think it would piss off Zeus though!

I think to a certain extant it would be like the greek pantheistic system. The greek gods were simply men drawn larger than life. The original purpose of the Olympics was as a festival to Zeus and Apolo who were veiwed as being the perfect men. There are a lot of men built like Batista or Mark Henry but obviously they can't go beating each other up all the time. I think we would maybe have less wars like the one in Iraq because no ruler would be able to get away with sending other people to do their dirty work for them.

Oh, what was the question? Just kidding. It would probably be bad. Right before the fall of Rome, gladiators were the biggest thing ever. I'm not saying they single handily brought it down, but glorifying violence like that isn't healthy. I'll be honest with you, I watch it sometimes. They are good athletes, and good actors (most). Watching it to much could lessen the affect violence has on us. So seeing some one beaten bloody is no biggy. Also the same goes for very nasty movies. I have no prob with monster flicks, bring on. But if we watch (and make) tons of films where some person is torturing people and like it... what does that make us?

We'd all be so messed up on steroids that we would all die from either beating each other to death or from not being able to do stuff like raise food because we were too busy lifting weights!
