ive been with him for 3 years now.
he says he still loves me,however he says my weight gain has made him far less attracted to me.
he doesnt hold my hand anymore or kiss me the way he used to.
he comes to my house 5 times a month if im lucky-we live down the street from eachother.
once again-he says my 30 lb weight gain is a huge obstacle for him. he said he is finding it very hard to be as loving and caring and as attentive to someone who doesnt care about herself anymore.
should i move on,or try to lose the weight and win back his love?
HELP!

Move on he obviously can't love you unconditionally. If your extra weight turns him off, then the only thing you and him had in common is your physical attraction and not the mental attraction of who you are inside and this relationship couldn't survive without him being attractive to both anyway.

I can understand the weight issue because of health problems that can arise but for your boyfriend of several years to no longer treat you in a attractive way because of the extra pounds would cause me to not want this type of person in my life because it will become time consuming trying to please him and live up to his standards.

If he want a barbie doll tell him to go to the store and get one.

Your boyfriend love your outside appearance more than your inside. Don't lose weight because of him, lose weight because of health. Its not worth it for you to put so much hope on this kind of man because what he love is just your outside. Human will get old, if you slim down now and he be with you. But if you get old, you can't get young again, then he will look for younger woman. Better leave him now because you still have chance to meet a good, better and faithfull man.

Is it really your weight that is making him distance himself from you, or is it just an excuse for him to drift away? Either way, he's moving on and you had better face that fact. Break up with him as soon as possible, then lose the weight, find another man and make him beg to have you back.

Dump him! Don't you have self-respect? When a guy really loves you he won't mind your weight at all! I think you have wasted 3 yrs already! Don't waste anymore time! I'm sure there are a lot of guys out there that would be interested in you and not your weight! Move on and dump that jackass!
