I personally would choose adoption, actually I did go that route. I was a teenage pregnancy and realized I was not emotionally up to the challenges of raising a child while still being one myself. I sat down with my parents and went over the options, and knowing I had the chance to give someone the most precious gift in the world, made my decision for me. Why destroy something that was a mistake on my part, when I could bless someone with a little miracle?? And their are so many ways it could be arranged, I opted for the open adoption, this way the child would know about me and meet me if they so choose.
But, in the long run, I think every situation is different and each persons beliefs are their deciding factor. Interesting question.

This is a personal choice a woman must make when she discovers a baby growing inside of her. Adoption has many advantages, but it also has many drawbacks. Abortion is the same way. Every situation is different, every pregnancy is different. There are women who have had abortions as young women and gone on to have children when they are older. It was their choice. I do not see it as killing a baby at all. In the 1600's people routinely left infants as old as one year outside in the freezing cold in winter because they couldn't afford to care for the child. Most rich parents ignored their children until they were 18 or so because it was believed that a child did not gain a soul until they reached that age because so many children died of disease and malnutrition. With the way the human population is booming, there is no need whatsoever to ban abortion. If a woman accidentally becomes pregnant, she should not be forced into keeping a pregnancy she doesn't want that will ruin her life, or that she perceives will ruin her life. You may think that's selfish, but unwanted children are the ones that are abused most often. They are the ones most likely to show antisocial behaviors, with some going so far as to become serial killers. What would you rather have? An unwanted antisocial or an abortion? I know you're thinking "what about adoption?" Why should a woman with an unwanted pregnancy ruin her body so that another couple can have her child when there are already so many parentless children out there? There are 15 million in Africa from AIDS alone. Where are the affluent American families dying to give your baby a loving secure home for these kids? I believe it is a woman's choice, every woman's choice. There are plenty of kids to go around and if a woman doesn't want to add another one to this planet that is her right, and if she does, then that's her right as well.

Both:
Abortion for those who wish to end their pregnancy for either they never want kids or not at this time. For those who were raped or incested.
If don't believe in abortion. Then Adoption or keeping is only other two choices you have. Because you don't believe in it does not mean everyone else should or choose the same path. Religion can't be argued with it. Nor can any site that is given (example, abortiontv) is biased and does not give accurate information. I know, I endored watching an abortion and obtopsy for lab course and law.
There is enough children in adoption agencies as is. No need to keep adding more unwanted fetus's. Those who want to adopt a child, they only want white babies. Not black/hispanic 10 year olds. How is that fair? Adoption is even selfish when an unwanted infant will take a 10 year old's spot because society is too selfish to think about the older kids who come from battered or abused homes because they were unwanted pregnancies that had to be kept because society comdems abortion rights.
I do disagree with 24 week abortions. Anything less than 16 should remain legal and anything less than 12 is better.
Adoption for those who carry to term and can't raise the child under circumstances.

adoption. Read.
Mommy
I am only 8 inches long
but I have all my organs.
I love the sound of your voice.
Every time I hear it
I wave my arms and legs.
The sound of your heart beat
is my favorite lullaby.
Month Two
Mommy
today I learned how to suck my thumb.
If you could see me
you could definitely tell that I am a baby.
I'm not big enough to survive outside my home though.
It is so nice and warm in here.
Month Three
You know what Mommy
I'm a boy!!
I hope that makes you happy.
I always want you to be happy.
I don't like it when you cry.
You sound so sad.
It makes me sad too
and I cry with you even though
you can't hear me.
Month Four
Mommy
my hair is starting to grow.
It is very short and fine
but I will have a lot of it.
I spend a lot of my time exercising.
I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes
and stretch my arms and legs.
I am becoming quite good at it too.
Month Five
You went to the doctor today.
Mommy, he lied to you.
He said that I'm not a baby.
I am a baby Mommy, your baby.
I think and feel.
Mommy, what's abortion?
Month Six
I can hear that doctor again.
I don't like him.
He seems cold and heartless.
Something is intruding my home.
The doctor called it a needle.
Mommy what is it? It burns!
Please make him stop!
I can't get away from it!
Mommy! HELP me!
Month Seven
Mommy
I am okay.
I am in Jesus's arms.
He is holding me.
He told me about abortion.
Why didn't you want me Mommy?
Every Abortion Is Just . . .
One more heart that was stopped.
Two more eyes that will never see.
Two more hands that will never touch.
Two more legs that will never run.
One more mouth that will never speak.

I would pick adoption. Abortion is murder i dont care what anyone says what gives anyone the right to kill a unborn child it wasnt like that child made the choice to be made. At least by adoption they have a chance at life.

adoption, give those who can't have a child the gift of life. abortion is murder, and those who take that path are not exercizing their right to choose, they think they have no choice and take this path. if possible, keep the baby for yourself, but to let the baby have a good life is the important thing, so adoption is a ood option. these peopl ewho tell u to abort cuz u don't want the baby, or because they think the population is too great are misguided

As someone who was adopted and abused, I will tell you that the line given that adoption is a loving alternative is often a lie. Since the state gives grants to adopters, the ability to take in large numbers of "at risk kids" and pick up the check for them is very easy.
For instance, I was adopted along with my other six siblings by two horrible people who never picked us up from school, mentally, physically, and verbally abused us, and they allowed their violent pedophile son around little children. In this setting, there was no food but frozen pizza and frozen burritos, and even then these scam artists used their "charity"(crisis pregnancy center) to get food from the food bank to not have to pay for the kids.
During the course of my time there, I was also told that I was inferior, that my real mother was crazy, and that I had to pretend to be similar to them despite having grown up until ten with my real parents. These scam artists pocketed the money from the state and spent days and nights taking trips and leaving kids alone, eating at fancy restaurants, etc. During this time of living off the gravy train that is adoption, I never once had a jacket and had to get my birth mother to buy me one when I was sixteen. That is six years after I was adopted.
Let's see, I was also told that the children of these creeps also deserved to be resentful becuase "they would have had a lot mroe if not for you." I don't know what they meant by a lot more, as they bought cars for their own children, while the adopted kids either took over payments on cars that broke down from the adopted kids or bought their own outright. In my case I had to save up to buy a 1990 Buick LeSabre, which they claimed their uncle or cousin of some other relative took great care of. It broke down within six months.
I also lived in the attic, literally. It was sweltering in the summer and I would wake up in a pool of sweat, then I would be told I had to be grateful to sleep in the air conditioned part of the house.

Abortion, There are enough children w/ no families why add to it. When you have a child you should want to be around them always and forever so why put them up for adoption. Dont have a child if you aren't ready. Yes I kinda do see it as killing a baby but why should you put a Innocent child through so much misery?? To avoid both of them use birth control and protection. ~*Hope I Helped*~

Adoption! cuz abortion is killing a little human person. If it was just part of the mother's body, an its all about choice, then tell me, why does the baby have its own DNA?
