All this stuff going on In Lebanon.
What's is the goal of the Israelis'?
If they succeed at destroying hezbollah, won't it just rise up again in a few months.
Cowboys and Indians don't work with the middle east..........
Why are we letting this war just happen?
If this was any country besides Israel, the United States would be more involved, right?
What's going on?

The Israelis are acting like an armed- nervous prison gaurd surrounded by convicts. And they should be nervous. Geographically they are sitting in a part of the world where they can be attacked from any side because none of the Middle eastern Islamic countries like them. They wont even acknowledge Isreal as a nation. I agree that if they wipe out Hezbollah then more will just replace them. You could even argue that Isreal's actions right now are encouraging more anti-Isreali sentiment that leads to organizations like Hezbollah.
Its not that the US is "letting" this war happen. Its that the US knows we cant really do anything to stop it that wont just put America at even greater risk for backlash.

Our current failing campaign in Iraq basically nullifies our diplomatic power with this, especially when trying to appeal to Lebanon. We cant commit any troop support because for one, we dont even have enough troops to secure Iraq, and two; to which side do we send our troops? Sending our troops to either side of the Israeli-Lebanon border basically shows that we have taken sides. And whos side should we really be on?
I think the best thing the US can do is to keep trying diplomacy while staying neutral, if possible. Provide aid to Lebanon in the form of medical supplies and food because Lebanon's infructure will be devasted before Isreal is done.
I think Hezbollah screwed over thier own country by kidnapping Isreali soldiers. This just gives Isreal a reason to invade Lebanon and go back to yet another long occupation. But at the same time i feel like Isreal's approach to handling Hezbollah thus far has been to just bomb the whole damn country and sort out the hezbollah corpses from the rest of the dead innocent men, women, and children.
And the scariest thing about this whole war is that this could go on indefinitly, kind of like how Iraq is now.

I know this is not the popular view..but here goes anyways.

According to the Bible, the Muslim nations are rising up against Israel in accordance with the hand of God. Yes, God is guiding the Arab nations to rise up against Israel. (Ezekiel 38 and 39).

But God will use this act to show His power to all the nations on the earth. After God takes down the Arab nations, the Jewish people will have their eyes opened as to who Jesus really was. For seven years after that, they will be promised peace, and their temple will be rebuilt. But after 3 and a half years, they will be tricked again, and the tribulation will begin. Mass murder, a one world order...and the rest can be read about in Revelations.

Check it out...it's worth a look.

Ezekiel tells of a great earthquake when He takes down the Arab nations once and for all. I read in Yahoo news the other day that our satelites have taken pictures of plates under the Red Sea moving in an odd way, never seen before. I believe this is preparing for this earthquake that is told about in Ezekiel.

Well it looks like the U.S. and Israel may be planning an doing a dog pile on Iran. Just think if we control Iraq and Iran, we will control a great amount of the earths oil. We will be set to be a world power for the next century. Is this what is going on? Maybe.

Would you take a look at about 8 - 10 minutes of this interview with Professor Steven Jones ? It's a 45 minute video and well worth looking at, to its end. At the very least, pass it on to those you care about.

The United States will not go against Israel. I'll bet before too long the USA is right in there helping them. That's just the way things are and will always be. Where there are warmonging men there will be conflict!
