I have tried everything but it goes away for a day or so and comes right back. Lotramin and Tinactin is what I have used including some powders and cremes.

Does anyone know of a good way t get rid of it. (Cant really got to the doctors becuase i dont have insurance ,,,it would be LAST resort.)

Thanks

The best way is to apply anti-fungal cream such as Lotrimin, like you did. But you have to remember to apply it several times daily, for at least a week or two. Otherwise, the fungus returns, stronger than before. And be sure to wear fresh socks, changing them several times daily, too, if you're sweating. Some non-medicinal remedies include mild acids, such as vinegar or urine. But those aren't nearly as effective as anti-fungal cream. And to prevent re-currence, try wearing more breathable shoes and socks.

It may have to come to that..if its that bad an oral antifungal may be your only hope. I have heard people say GoldBond powder is good...If you are using Tinactin or Lotrimin, make sure you use them even after you seem to have cleared up...you have to be sure it is all cured..even deep down. If you are trating for a few days then stopping, you are only helping the fungus to build up a tolerance to the medication.....gl to ya :)

Make sure to keep your feet clean and dry; carry an extra pair of white cotton socks if you have to, just so you can change them. Keep up with the powders. Lotions will only make it more wet, which fungus loves.

you're going to have to either throwaway your shoes, and start the treatment (tinactin, etc) while buying new shoes, or put an antifungal powder in all your closed shoes, don't wear them for three days while you leave them out in the sun as much as possible, meanwhile you're applying the cream to your toes twice daily, and wearing sandals. if all this fails, see your doc for some prescription lamisil tabs or something!

it could be something else, but try naftate , which is another of those creams. go barefoot as much as you can, wash often, then use something like gold bond powder during the day and the cream at bedtime.
