I am looking to buy Non-Flammable fabrics in New York, NY that come in a large variety of colors. I have a few pantone colors and I am trying to find fabrics that match them. I do not want to dye the fabrics. I want to purchase them as is.

The garment district in NYC is from about 30th street to 48th street, on the west side (at Broadway, 6th, 7th, 8th avenues). This area is chock full of fabric stores that sell everything under the rainbow. To narrow it down you may want to look in a phone book first, or just wander around. Most of these places sell 'wholesale only', so if you are not a business (with a tax ID # and a business card), you will need to pay cash for whatever you purchase. Bring your pantone chips to match, and make sure you ask the proprietors which fabrics are non-flammable.
