Emotionless World vs. Emotional World

I believe an emotionless world would be much healthier than an emotional world. There are two reasons I'm posting this question. (Also by Emotionless I don't mean completely without emotion but with hardly any to the point where it hardly matters).

1. I want to see criticism, preferably constructive and original.
2. I want people to contact me by messaging me on Yahoo Messenger (Mathcore321x). I'm on right now awaiting you messages.

No screamers for the debate. I want a controlled rational debate, and I promise to give you the same.

Thank you for any constructive criticism, comments, and debate contributors.

Your assessment is correct. Emotions are easily swayed to this cause or that by means of persuasion, including the call of religious exhortation. Thus, emotions, being intrinsically irrational, lend themselves to irrational actions. In an emotionless world, reason would prevail and, on that basis, it could be presumed that sensible choices would be made to create a sustainable human civilization.

In an emotionless world, i think that opinions would hardly matter. Becos the opinions which do have an impact on our well beings would hardly matter to us. I mean, if everyone had a comfortable life, living in luxury, etc would not really make a difference to our well beings. Poverty, starvation, lack of funds, sadness depression are a part of life, but if there is no sadness, then it would be truly hard to actually feel what happiness is. Living with little emotions would cause our lives to have little meaning, if any at all.

Balance is the key to everything! It is not a debatable topic to begin with.

Besides, I prefer to refer the matter as OBJECTIVITY vis-a-vis SUBJECTIVITY, but still, it's not a debatable topic. It's a matter of preference, level of tolerance or psychological adjustment of a person... How much emotion he or she can take or not take!

But clearly, you have an inquisitive mind... Carry on!

i think a world void of serious emotion would be a dark and lonely place...but we wouldn't know it...

emotion sets us apart from robots...why would you want to live if life was simply about going through motions...

tears are really incredible. we were built and designed specifically to be emotional...we feel and that is beautiful.

without emotion the world would be simpler. yes. the world would be more peaceful yes...

but would we care without emotion?

i think about my most emotional day. my son was born on jan 6th. my husband is at war in iraq and was not able to be there...

i felt the most intese emotions that day. and rightly so. i can not imagine if my sons entry into this world without the tears of joy and tears of longing...

i can not imagin not feeling that day with my soul...

a world without emotion would be like a painting with no color...
a world without emotion would be like a bird without wings...
