It's like the MATRIX thing... you know what I mean.
They had a better life in the dreamworld but still preferred to fight for the reality, till death.
There's nothing more real than reality itself. You get to face your ultimate fear, the ultimate battle... YOURSELF.
What you are experiencing also happens to all human beings. It is like a tug-o-war between the conscious and subconscious level. They say also that dreams are but extensions of man's wishes, hopes.
So, if it's a nightmare, you wake up because you don't like it. But if it's a sweet dream, you still wake up because you want to make it real!
Party on!

Never had that problem. But if this whole thing wasnt real, i'd definitely have a "do over" button and a "quit" button. Every time i dream something violent happening to my dream character of myself and he gets to the point of death i can always think "thats not how its supposed to happen" and back the dream up a little bit. this usually gives me an edge over the dream opponents cause i know what theyre going to do. Unfortunately life does not have a do over button, and the quit button is forever. Instead of wishing your problems would go away or that this would all be a dream, adapt and overcome your problems. I am not aware of what your problems are. you may have to kill some abusive parents or start taking responsibility for your destiny. doesnt matter. if you attack a problem you can destroy it.

Whenever I realize I'm in a dream, I just try to take control of it. Like...I guess that would be the equivalent of becoming God, but still if it's YOU dreaming, then you should be able to make stuff happen, right? It usually starts to work but then I wake up.
So, in answer to the question...I'd start making my life a lot more fun if I knew it was a dream. Go flying or something (though that one's REALLY tricky).

I absolutely would not want to wake up. I have enjoyed my life and my family. I almost left this world two 1/2 years ago and I fought pretty dang hard to stay here so I am thinking that nope I would just enjoy being able to say where this dream is going!
BTW, I love these kind of questions!

This is really a dream, but the tragedy is that we can never wake up. Those who woke they reached to the destiny, and those who remain sleeping and dreaming remain running coming and going they can't come out of the circle of coming and going.

It depends. What if I'm not the one sleeping? What if I am part of the real person's dream? Not all characters within a dream represent real people.

Absolutely, I often think there has got to be more to it than this. I would help I could remember the lessons I learned in the dream and certainly remember NOT to marry that guy!

i sometimes wonder...we all think odd thoughts about our existance...no i would not try to wake up...i would want to see how this all ends....
on a related note...once when i was actually dreaming i realized it was a dream...and i was excited because i love dreams where i fly so i immediatly pushed off and soared around....realizing that i could manipulate the "world" of my dream was incredible...
not too far off from this dream don't you think? just a few little things like gravity grounding us.....

Yes I would. When I was little I used to (believe in god) pray that I was just having a nightmare and would wake up soon. Close to thirty years later and I still CANT WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!
Reality blows, eh?
