Sad songs are always played at graduation and I never could figure out why. I know graduating from high school, is a sad thing because you know, everybody goes their separate ways and the friends you had, suddenly disappear or you rarely see them. When we had our senior all night party, (a lock in) Our theme for it was called "welcome to the jungle", by Guns and Roses. Welcome to the Jungle, was just a reminder that when you graduate and get out into the real world, reality sets in. You no longer get the things that you got, when you were still in school and once you get out on your own, you'll realize how difficult it is

We've used a few different ones.
Seasons of Love from the musical Rent (One of my personal favorites!)
Bridge over troubled water
For Good from the musical Wicked
In my class this year we get to vote for the graduation song as seniors so I'm really excited and brainstorming for songs too!

Yeah, go with "Graduation (Friends Forever)" by Vitamin C. It talks about what happens during your life in high school and after. It's soo good. I highly suggest it!
