What a wasted pitching performance out of Cain tonight. Nothing spectacular, defiantly wasted though. Who know’s when they will win again.

I watched that game… first and third no outs in the bottom of the 1st and who comes to the plate and ruins it? Mark Sweeney!

Talk about a team that needed to make a splash on trading deadline. Hillenbrand was a decent addition, but MEMO TO GIANT MANAGEMENT: YOU NEED A FIRST BASEMAN! I just cannot fathom why the Giants refuse to stack their lineup and protect Barry. I know he‘s not the same player… all the reason more to get him help. Instead, they add decrepit 38-42 year olds in hopes that somehow it will payoff.

Listen, I know you're scared to deal because you gave Liriano and Nathan for A.J. (who you then released to grab Mike “I’m not good” Matheny), BUT GIANTS FRONT OFFICE, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!

Absolutely. Schmidt and Cain are better than many 1-2 punches, especially in the NL, and will win some by themselves. Question is of course the offense. Hillenbrand will help over time, he's a proven .300 hitter over several years. I still won't count anyone in the NL West out yet!
