Can being a liberal be dangerous ???

Question

At an international mental health conference today, leading authorities announced the classification of a common but heretofor unremarked, category of mental illness. The new disease is called "liberal Cognitive Disorder" A dangerous, rapidly spreading psychiatric illness (LCD) that is both an emotional and cognitive dysfunction, sometimes with psychotic features.

The only known cure at this time is if the person gives up all their silly ideas and try to get back to reality; or just vote republican for a few years and stop watching so much TV.

If you think you might have this problem please have your head examined and stop voting until this sometimes fatal disease is cured

antitheistic rebellion - an emotional antagonism against Christianity... probably caused by an abnormal persistence of adolescent rebellion... may also be related to the need to avoid counterarguments to desired policies (see utopiate thinking, above). This ranges from a mere antagonism to Christianity to a hatred of religions of all forms. Generally the more "western" a religion is, the more it is hated. Thus these patients may accept primitive and animalist belief systems.

Someone brain washed you dude. What the hell is wrong with being a liberal? What's wring with not being judgemental and narrow minded thinking people should only live the way you think they should live?
I believe if a woman wants an abortion, she should be able to get one. If it's okay with her then that's really all that matters. If two guys want to get married, what's it going to hurt? I'm not gay but two guys getting married isn't going to be the end of the world. Bush is trying to push his religious values off on the towelheads and why? They believe what they're doing is as right as what Bush believes what he is doing is right. I wouldn't walk across the street to meet Bush but he's entitled to his opinions and ideals. Only trouble with that is he's killing many people in the process.
I'm a liberal, very liberal and proud of it.

ALL ideologies are dysfunctional. The world is far too big and complex to fit within the narrow confines of any ideology or religion. Making decisions based on available data and reason works far, far better.
