1:Witnail & I
2: Dog Soldiers
3:Lock, Stock and two Smoking Barrels
4: Trainspotting
5: League of Gentleman Apocalyse
6: Shaun of the Dead
7: Montypthyon and the Holy Grail
8: Billy Elliot
9: Scum
10:Football Factory

This list is in no particular order and could go on for about 12 pages. All films were made in the uk with British Directors, however could be with American production companies, or on release from these studios. The Harry Potter film series is in fact a UK film production, just with warner bros money and a American director, the rest is pure British, it's just we in england wouldn't do it well because we couldn't and wouldn't put enought money in it.

If.... - in my international top 5
Gregory's Girl - funniest film that was ever made (maybe except for Some Like It Hot)
In the Company of Wolves - unique
Mona Lisa - breath taking
Last of England - masterpiece
Wetherby - Vanessa Redgrave
Dance With a Stranger - heart breaking
Wish You Were Here - breathless
Lawrence of Arabia - monumental
Look Back in Anger - Richard Burton

Trainspotting, That Sinking Feeling, Letter to Breshnev, The Snapper, My Beautiful Laundrette, Sammy and Rosie Get Laid, The Draughtman's Contract, The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, Saturday Night and Sunday Morning.....

I forgot who said that the British are not able to make movies - he was wrong anyway!
