I'm running a radeon 9600xt and I would like to know how to overclock it.

Search for ATI Tool on the web, thats the program that does it.

You don't "overclock" a video card! You "overclock" microprocessors! "Overclock" means to make the processor run faster than it was designed to run. In other words, make a 3.0Ghz clock speed processor run at a clock speed of say 3.7Ghz. This will burn a processor up if not done carefully. It also makes the processor run HOT! So, you must use a liquid cooling system or some other exotic type of cooling to the processor when you overclock it and you must monitor the temperature of your processor closely also. Video cards have memory on them, not a microprocessor.

ati should have an overclocking utility that comes w/ the drivers if not...you can always find one off the net

dvfraz...get your facts straight before answering...video cards have a video processor AND onboard memory. and YES you can overclock both of them.

well your ati card should come with the smart doctor which is the device used to overclock it
