Little hairs in your nostrils are there to filter out dirt and particles entering your breathing passages.Since your nose secretes mucous fluids to help moisturise and capture these particles.,The mucous, combined with the hairs, form bugars,so that these unwanted snoty blobs don't get in your lungs. And the usually collect around the hairs.Color depends on the micous, which is yellowish, like Pus,and many times looks green.Lastly ,these bugars are an important food souce for growing kids, whose parents do not give them enuff lunch money!JOKE!

It's green due to mucus. We get it because our nose hairs catch tiny dust particles and it forms into buggers. Without nose hairs, more dust will enter our respiratory system.

bugers are formed to protect our noses from dust and whatever else we breathe in. I think they are supposed to be clear or white...im not sure why they are green though.
