It is interesting to see that some people are open to sharing their thoughts with others...yet some are not. Some are willing to reach out and be friends, for the sake of promoting friendship...and some are not. This person has openly asked for friendship. Does it really matter why? Was it too much to ask? To the people that responded with an open hand in friendship... good for you. I respect you. To those who were cruel and shut this person out... I believe it is you that need to get out and find some friends. Learn what a friend is.

why do you need e-mail friends?
don't you have actual friends in your life?
Not to sound condescending, but it is, after all, only a computer.
I'd try corresponding with people at school or work, see if that works. maybe get on someone's mailing list for jokes or whatever.
