whatever people that movie scared the flying crap out of me. I couldnt sleep at 3am for the longest time after i saw it. I thought it was well acted and i believe that it was based on true events; so that most likely means that most of the movie was made up. there was a movie web site advertised.

Actually the movie is based on true story. The voice of the devil talking through Emily on the tape recorder used by the priest in the courtroom is the one from the REAL exorcism.

I have never really gotten into scary movies. This claims to be a true story. But I never found it to be one bit scarey.

It's a rather ballooned and arbitrary version of the actual happenings.
Hans-Christoph Blumenberg made another film that is based on the case which is closer to the events.

The movie was supposedly based on a true story.The movie had when it happened right in it. . (it was between 1973-1976 btw)
I didnt find it all that scary.

it is not that much scary . Only two or more shots are stunning the remaining movie was a mentally madness.

it wasn't scarry, it was gay, in my own oppinion, yes it is a true story, happened about 20 years ago

i doubt its true...it wasnt that scary...i kinda htought it was funny...i think i laughed alot in that movie...yea...good movie though
