The previous answer is only half right. The GTO is not available after the 2006 model year. GM has a Camaro concept that they have not decided to build (yet).
However, Bob Lutz has said that if they do build the Camaro, they will retro a GTO on the same platform.
We're all still waiting...

Actually in recent reports i saw on Spike TV and read on motor trend, it seems as though GM will stop production of the GTO, in it's place the camaro will come in and the GTO will just fade out.
