I'm not republican but I agree I'm not for abortions but I think if it becomes against the law to have one more babies will end up in dumpsters and like you said possibly killing the mother and baby.

I guess I am more of a moderate republican,Abortion in cases of rape or incest,life of the mother/child I'm not crazy about,but OK.As a means of birth control,no,notification of parents yes.And the issue of stem cell research,Bush is on the wrong side I believe,Science is not evil,and I believe he thinks it is.The government should fully fund stem cell research,without delay.

I agree with the first answer adoption is a much better option, there are many people who can't have kids but want them, why would you kill your own flesh and blood because you made a stupid mistake!! I agree with Kay R. You can't justify something evil by saying, "well they'll still do it anyway even if it isn't legal." If we made using drugs safe, it still wouldn't be right. Killing babies is horrible...it just shouldn't be legal.
