According to a particular theory the lifetime of every thing can be calculated. Does any one knows the life time of internet?

see Internet for the time being is here to stay till a very advance technology comes up which will enable us to communicate without the use of computers or large machines, then maybe a hundred yrs from now. as it happened in case of planes, no one imagined a 100 yrs ago that humans will fly machines and now we are planning mission to Mars.

The life time of internet might be
1) next few years, untill a new technology is invented
2) Thousands of years, if the present technology is foolproof.
