I have to get this out some how and I don't know any one I can talk too. I was injured a little over 2 years ago. I fell behind in my house payments. Soon the foreclosure notice came. A gentleman came to my house to tell me he could help. I trusted him. Now I rent my place. The house needs alot of work first some windows have boards in them, the bath room up stairs and bed room are comptly torn apart, front door is cracked all around you can see out side, plus it does not lock. with the house in this condiction I feel that the adoption agency that has my grand son will not give him to me. Thank you for listening may you be blessed for letting me tell you my life as it is now. All I need is to let it out

Ohhh.. that is so sad. Well there is this place called Freecycle.org on the net. Check it out. You can sometimes find some great things people are just wanting to give away. For example, carpet remenants, left over building materieals, you name it. Check it out, its free and there is bound to be a place right in your own town! It is a place to recycle unwanted items you were just going to throw out anyway. One's trash is anothers treasure...
Will keep you in my thoughts. Best Wishes,
-Barbara

Such a sad story. People that are honest often think others are like them, honest too. You are a Grandparent too. Today dishonesty seems to be more prevalent then when we were younger right? Then there is a certain type of lying bastard that preys on elderly people. Ask yourself why do you have to trust anybody? Always assume they are crooks until they have proved otherwise and even then give your trust out sparingly. Its difficult to hire an honest contractor. I can't even find an honest one half the time. And if they are honest chances are they are incompetent. You need someone tough on your side. Try writing an editorial to your newspaper. Make it longer but keep the same message. Make everyone aware that you are a grandparent and alone (I presume). I hope you get some better advice in Yahoo Answers than I was able to give you. Take Care

Yes, as a member of the human race I am proud to report there are still some wonderful people out there and I have been very privilaged to meet them.
I don't know what state you live or your financial situation but in some states through programs of H.E.A.P. they can help you repair your house.
From the heart I say I hope you find some help. Bless you.

Yes there are. And I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Have faith- & see what happens where your grandchild is concerned. Everything may yet work out for the best. You just need to better check out those people who you would ask help from. There are always a few crumbs- in the loaf.

Do you think that you can afford to move? I don't know of anyone to help you. Your grandchild is the most important concern right now. You may have to just forget your house. You may never get it back. I do hope you get custody of your grandchild though. May the Lord bless you and give you the help you need.

I am honest. Many try to take advantage of people in your situation. Looks like you found one. Get a new landlord; your place doesn't sound like it's worth keeping. Maybe you can get smoe kind of assistance if you don't make enough to make ends meet.
I am blessed in may ways, thank you, and so are you, even though I know sometimes it doesn't seem like it. Keep praying. God Bless.

There are many people wanted for scams and taking advantage of people. Call your DA, the FBI, etc. This sounds criminal.
If he did everything legally, he will have to answer to a higher power.

It's pretty sad when you can't trust people. There are honest people out there, but the bad ones make you forget about the good ones left.

I believe I am. But it seems like there is an awful lot of people out there that aren't. What happened to "Do not do to others what you would not want done to you". People now are so very heartless.
