I saw it in the theater when it was released. I had such a crush on Ally Sheedy. It was a great movie for it's day.

Yes -- it was very well done.

The best part of the movie flashes right past near the end, the dozens of possible nuclear exhchanges listed by the computer --important and correct.


Creepy, but it's the right list.

Yes. I thought it was pretty good. It looks really outdated now but if they changed just the computer equipment it'd still stand pretty well next to all the films they're producing nowadays for teenagers.

Yes, cute movie about a kid who hacks his way into a HUGE computer and plays "games" with it, only to find out that the computer's "game" is, in actuality, global thermonuclear destruction. the movie continues with the boy and his friend attempting to prevent such destruction.

That is one old movie. And it's funny to see the "state of the art" computers from back in the eighties. Good movie, though.

Seen it and have a copy on DVD. Wouldn't it be weird if we still had modems like the one used in the movie?

many times, used to own it on LaserDisk, back in the day! One of my favorites, though now it is so dated, still entertaining
