If you are lucky it may be alright. Remove most of the clothes and see what happens when you set it to spin.

Since you do not say what brand or model you have it is difficult to say what may have happened.

You may have a burned belt or wore out a clutch or broke a motor coupling. The agitating part is what could have caused the more serious damage though with the transmission at the top of the list.

Take half the clothes out and balance the clothes in the washing machine and see if it will do anything.overload is putting to much in or its not balance which is to much clothes on one side. If it want do anything yes something happen to it so call the repair men or tell your dad what happen he might can fix it or still have warrent on it.

Yup, you broke it. Call the washing machine repair man. Mine broke down (it.s pretty ancient) and it cost me $125 Can to fix it. Next time, try smaller loads.

try taking some of the clothes out. Why would you overload it in the first place?
