does anyone but me think that buffets are unsanitary. i think that they are gross.

I don't really think that they are unsanitary, due to the fact that whenever you go for more food you need new clean plates. The food may not be as fresh because they are under heat lamps, but I have to say that they are pretty sanitary.

Yes, the idea of everybody coming in the restaurant after work and sticking their dirty mits in the food that you will be selecting to put on your plate is unappetizing. Sometimes if you could go in the kitchen and have a look around-----------it could even be more unappetizing!

Depends on where you are going to. I've had experiences with both clean and unclean ones. Didn't stick around the unclean ones.

Sure, they are supposed to have a sneeze shade over them. But Peoples hands, they touch the food, bread, etc.

In many ways they are. But in a busy place there is nothing to worry about unless you have an immune deficiency.
