No, I'm an iranian, and I'm not an arab. iran is generally considered as a middle eastern nation, but it's not an arab country.arab's are arabs, they speak arabic, and they are muslim, and they have a totally different culture and mindset from iranians. iranians are from the Pars culture. we're persians. we speak farsi, we've been around for about 4000 years. the only place that we are the same in as arabs is that a majority of the country is muslim(95 %, the rest are christians, jews, and Zoroastrians). but we have a much more laid back and philosophical view of the religion, and a fraction of the racialists that are in the arab states. the arab nations are: Saudi Arabia, the UAE, oman, yemen, jordan, palestine, lebanon, and most countries in the northern part of Africa. like Egypt, Morocco, ect.... if you need more info, contact me via email, i'd be happy to help

Iranians are Persians, descendents of Aryans, and Babylonians and Assyrians as a matter of fact.
Arya means something like " coming from noble family" or "people who work for equality" , but in fact they were only a white race that came down from the mountains of Asia , passed though middle east ,some stayed and some continued who by the end colonized Europe.
Technically, Iran means "Land of Aryans"

no. Iranians and Turks are MIddle Eastern, but not Arab, they are the only exceptions. Here is the list of arab nations, 18 plus some controversial ones- it includes the Middle East (except Iran and Turkey) and North Africa:

While this has often been a matter of dispute, the following entities (18 states and two territories) are considered part of the Arab world as all use Arabic as one of their official state languages, and most of their inhabitants speak one or more of the Arabic languages and dialects (though ethnically quite varied):

Algeria
Bahrain
Egypt
Iraq
Jordan
Kuwait
Lebanon
Libya
Mauritania
Morocco
Oman
Palestine
Qatar
Saudi Arabia
Sudan
Syria
Tunisia
United Arab Emirates
Western Sahara (SADR)
Yemen

Palestine and Western Sahara are not de facto sovereign countries, but are awaiting independence and are recognized as legitimate states by some countries and international organizations (for example Palestine is a full-fledged member of the Arab League and Western Sahara of the African Union). In addition to the countries listed, Djibouti, Somalia and the Comoros are all member states of the Arab League, although their inhabitants are not predominantly Arabic-speaking.

The Persian nation contains a number of tribes [...]: the Pasargadae, Maraphii, and Maspii, upon which all the other tribes are dependent. Of these, the Pasargadae are the most distinguished; they contain the clan of the Achaemenids from which spring the Perseid kings. Other tribes are the Panthialaei, Derusiaei, Germanii, all of which are attached to the soil, the remainder -the Dai, Mardi, Dropici, Sagarti, being nomadic.

I wouldn't advise you calling an Iranian an Arabian. Most of them will tell you they are Persian. Iran constituted a large part of the Persian empire a very long time ago and they are descended from Persians, so Persians it is.
