I am a fan of these 4 authors and was wondering if there were similar authors with the same type of genre... Something with action, a little romance, not too much sci-fi, horror, supernatural themes. If anyone knows some good authors to check out please let me know...

Mary Janice Davidson
Carrie Vaughn
Yasmine Galenorn
Patricia Briggs
Janet Evanovich (not the same genre, but so good)
I'm sure you've read Anne Rice but if not I highly recommend her work. Be prepared some of the books in the middle of the vampire series are bad. The last two are excellent, as are the first four. Her Mayfair Witches books are fabulous.

Sherrilyn Kenyon - Dark Hunter series
Kelly Armstrong - Otherworld series
Not my fav author although she writes the same kind of stuff as above (and her Ghostwalker series is enjoyable)
Christine Feehan - Dark series and Drake Sisters series.
Not so much romance but fantasy/horror in modern day setting and very good reads:-
Jim Butcher - the Dresden Files series
Simon R Green - Nightside series

Charlaine Harris- The Southern Vampire Mysteries are great.
Sherrilyn Kenyon - Dark Hunter series are a bit more sexy
Mary Janice Davidson - Are a bit funnier
Tanya Huff- Blood series are also very good.
