Right after the first one. You can get pregnant once you leave the delivery room. It is also easier to get pregnant. But not recommended. I had one a year after the first one. It was hard because the first one was still a baby. Especially during the pregnancy. If you have a lot of help. I say go for it.

After you pass the 6 weeks check up that's when you can have sex again. Look at Brittney Spears she's pregnant again and her son is about 7 or 8 months now. You should give your body a break for about a year, but the choice is yours.

Physically, the traditional six weeks to two months before risking pregnancy again is minimum. Emotionally, not until you've got the latest one weaned, at least. Financially, maybe never. Consider what goes into having and raising the one(s) you have before trying for another one.

I have a friend who got preganant three months after she gave birth --- is this a good idea - not really and it is risky.
How long should you wait depends upon your health and mental state --- see your doctor and let him know you'd like to know how soon you can attempt another pregnancy....

If not breastfeeding, a woman will ovulate and can get pregnant within 2-3 weeks of birth.

My mother and her brother are 10 months apart exactly, to the day!!

(I don't recommend it, though.)

As a nurse, I must answer correctly and say as little 6 weeks, however, since I am against BREEDING and bring more humans into an already overpopulated earth. I would said, just keep it up, while they raise MY taxes to pay for YOUR lack of decency.

Almost immediately if you don't breast feed but I don't recommend it. Research shows that having children 5 years apart gives each child the most attention possible in those ever-important first years.
