Caller ID will give you away, so will *69. Even blocked & unknown calls can be traced. Most phone companies offer tracing for a price per call as well as a storage fee. I've gotten those calls & I immediately trace it & store it. Then I report the call to the police & my local phone company. The last 5 were arrested & sentenced to jail for a felony. I know for certain as the phone company requested more information from me & I had to sign paperwork. I also had to file a police report & received copies of everything as it was all public record through the local courthouse.
Prank calling's fun BUT not worth the end result nowdays.

Dial.. *67 before you call anyone. This blocks the caller id from seeing who you are on their line.
Um.. Tell them you are from NASA conducting a survey about stars and planets.
"First off, I just want to know if you think there is any life on Uranus? Sir, this is not a joke. I'm seriously from NASA and I am doing a survey here. How about mars? Does it make you more comfortable if I ask that? Why can't I ask you if there is any life on Uranus?"
... just see how many times you can get away with saying Uranus before they hang up.
Oh and if you are scared of doing it from your home like someone was saying here.. you could do it from a payphone. I mean if it's worth the quarter I guess. =) Heck.. do collect calls... call 1800collect and dial some number, when they ask for your name say something really nutty and see if they accept your call.

Whatever you do, don't call the same number more than twice. Don't dial a random number unless you look it up in the phonebook first. Don't do anything stupid like saying your name or your friend's names. (I've seen people actually do this...) And definently do not call a police officer. (Yes, I've seen someone do this too.) Be sure you dial *67 first. One thing I did was to call someone and pretend like I know them and start blabbing about something and then cuss them out because they "don't remember me." But the best thing ever is... okay you need two people with two different lines to do this. You call a number on three-way, and your friend calls another number on three-way. Quietly listen to the two people you guys called argue about who called who. It's halarious!!! Oh, and calling two people who hate eachother is even funnier. Or calling one person and the other calling a sex hotline.

screw these guys on here! tHEYRE LAME. call one of your good friends and each of you call someone on 3 way and hurry up and connect them. (3 wayis wehn you push flash, dial, then push flash again to connect all of you)And wait till theyre like,"Hello?? U called me." "No, you called me." "No...." You can call different 7 11's at different locations and theyll be like "Hello, 7 11." And the other location will be like "No, this is 7 11." The best is chinese reaturants.

Kindof hard to do now days because of Caller ID. If they have Caller ID then they will know who is calling. Doesn't that take the whole fun out it? ha ha

Are you that bored?? .please don't do that...late calls scare the crap out of people, one never knows if it's the er or police.so stop the games and have respect..I got a call like that, thinking it was a prank and I was to find out that my brother was killed by a DUI, so it's not a nice thing to do
