Ok, thier is some legendary live jazz or blues preformance that happened way back when and i cant think of the name of it or who it was. All i know is that it was two major jazz/blues artists both of which are considered legands as is the concert. Its like Miles Davis or John Coltrane or someone, but its two legands of music playing together and i think its considered to be like an essential blues record.

Jazz at Massey Hall is a legendary/historic live recording from 1953. It is certainly one of the most famous jazz recordings and includes legends Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie; not to mention Bud Powell, Max Roach, and Charlie Mingus (no lesser legends). It is often referred to by critics as the greatest jazz concert ever - maybe? but it's certainly an historic and important recording.

There is an album featuring Albert King and Stevie Ray Vaughn.called In Session.

It's a live recording of the two (with a band) jamming and talking a bit between songs. The theme is Albert talking about Stevie as a disciple of his, and now Albert is passing the torch to Stevie.

In my opinion, it's a really good album that lives up to the expectations of these two guitarists.

I hope this is the album you were searching for.
