Doesn't matter how long it is. What does matter is how big the file is. If it's less than 700 MB, it should fit on a CD-R.

No way is that going to fit! You can only get 650 - 700 Mbytes on a CD-R. Look at your MPEG file size. A 98 minute MPEG will be much larger than that.
Once you have a file that can actually fit, then you burn it just like any other file using Roxio, Easy CD Creater, etc.

Open the file with Adobe Premiere, Cut it in 2 parts and burn it in two CD's.
When it comes to Viedo Files, is not the time that matters, it's the size of the file. so if the size of the file is more that 800 MB, then you need to do what I said.

unfortunately you cant burn the 98 minutes to the CD-R disc because it can only hold a max of 80 minutes.but you can use a MPEG Splitter software to split it in 2 and burn half of it in one disc and the other on the other disc.

Convert to avi. Download winavi for this. Avi format takes much less space.

CD's can only hold 80 minutes.
I think you can use a DVD.
