You can celebrate it even if you're not jewish; there's no reason you can't.

I wouldn't bother, though. Seems a little silly just for some presents.

yes it is a Jewish tradition and should only be celebrated by people that are Jewish, don't just celebrate Haunaka becuase you want presents each day that is really selfish be grateful for what u have think of the children in 3rd world countries i'm sure they would like a present!!!

You are pathetic. The presents are to represent something deep and meaningful to their culture....just as presents on Christmas day are supposed to represent something meaningful. You obviously have missed the point about the whole thing. It is sad to know that your holidays are completely commercialized [and mean nothing to you].

IT IS A JEWISH TRADITION CELEBRATED INSTEAD OF CHRISTMAS BECAUSE OF THEIR BELIEFS, YOU PROBALY COULD CELEBRATE IT THAT WAY IF YOU WANTED TO, I WOULD TRY TO FIND OUT WHY THE TRADITION EXISTS AND IF I AGREED WITH IT, THEN MAKE YOUR DECISION THAT WAY.
