Not personally. But my wife (former) went a while back and talked about it constantly for at least a year. She kept telling me he had a nice a*s. I now wonder if she was one of the groupies who met him in the hotel room.
There is a guy named Denny Diamond who covers Neil Diamond tunes. I had a bunch of Neil D's albums. He is quite the intelligent performer. Jewish as he is, his Christmas albums are fantastic. He does the Hallelujah Chorus from Handels Messiah that is very moving.
