Yes I did. My parents didn't even want us to have other children whom werent white as friends. They wanted us to hate other races. It was crazy. We were taught that we (whites) were superior over any other race. But the more they tried to push me into hating other races, the more I began to like them. I guess I rebeled against them. ~oh well~ You can imagine the hell I got when I married a black man and now have bi-racial daughters. But it was all for the good cuz my parents have somewhat moved on from there racial views. My daughters are the apples of there eyes. I believe they are all joined at the Hip..LOL.

They are not real crazy about my husband.... but..... he is welcomed at there house and they respect him cuz he loves & takes good care of us.

Nobody is allowed at there house who uses racial slurs or any of the such anymore. So things didn't turn out so bad. They are not the racist they once was. Praise God!

No. Racial prejudice is an unhealthy way of trying to maintain a healthy society.

To a certain extent. We were taught that white folks can't be trusted and that they were no good. I grew up with that ideology until I joined the Navy. I then interacted with all folks from every walk of life and it changed me. Now I teach my daughters that even though are skin is different, we're all the same.

Absolutely not, my parents would prefer me date a black guy rather than a white girl.

And I haven't tried either.
