hey hun....first of congrats!....on the q though if your having braxton hicks contraction (not real labor but your body practicing) then almost like real contractions your stomach will tighten up and then release ever now and again....they can be barley noticeable to rather uncomfortable but if the only come ever now and again then its nothing to worry over...but now the real ones are a whole nother' story...your stomach will cramp and contract like braxton hicks but these will come in a unmistakable pattern and they will get a lot more intense a lot faster...by the time your dilated to 8 or so you can literally see your stomach contracting and you will feel unreal urge to push....that's what happened to my sis...the docs told her not to push but her body wasn't havin it and you could literally see it like a wave pushing on its on...your body will know what to do....love daisy

Um I like the fact it seems two guys answered this lol.

You WILL know it. Having contractions aren't necessarily the same as being in active labor. You can have Braxton-Hicks contractions anytime during late pregnancy. They're preparing you for labor. When they start coming closer together towards the end, some people call that "false labor."

They will feel like very strong menstrual cramps to start and increase in intensity, generally beginning (at least they did for me) down at the bottom of your uterus and growing up and outward. You can literally feel your uterus shrink or contract, it's a very strong muscle.

You may not notice really mild ones, but when you do go in labor they will become very regular and the timing between each contraction will decrease.

Hope that helps.

I was lucky my water broke so I knew I was going to start labor. You will know when You are having contractions it starts out and you think I can handle this, (strong cramps) then ooouch I tryed for the epidural but it didn't work on me. So get a picture that makes you calm and try to focus on it and breath. It is not easy by any means but you will and can get threw it. A year later you won't barley remember the pain. You'll just have your cute little one smiling at you. Good luck !!!!

First of all, I recognise I'm now not a man however I'm gonna reply in any case. It relatively will depend on the style of man. But yeah plenty of men like blameless ladies, and a few like dumb ladies who faux the have a mind of a five 12 months ancient. But so much men don't seem to be quite often interested in the style of woman who "pretends" to be dumb and blameless for an exact courting considering the fact that I might fully grasp that they could conveniently get uninterested in that sort of woman considering the fact that she acts like she does not recognise some thing. And the men ur speakme approximately normally simplest supply her that sort of awareness while she's round becuz they recognise they are able to conveniently use her after which unload her. Sooo yeah

At first it's a little hard to tell, but as it goes on, it feels like really strong menstrual cramps. You may feel it more in your back at first. It will get stronger than that, be prepared. Make sure to do your breathing. congrats on the baby.

Like when you ate too much and your stomach lets you know by knotting up real quick. As the labor oges on the pain simply get worse and spreads through your stomach and abdomen to your whole body. It's like PMS.

It is so obvious of a feeling that you'll absolutely know. And then it will happen again and then again, so you can tell that a rhythm is building up. It will pretty much take your breath away, and you'll feel that you want to get to the hospital ASAP.
