Is the Ford they refer to the founder of the for car company in detroit? Make of the model T ect.?

Yes, Aldous Huxley uses the "Our Ford" as a salute to Henry Ford the inventor of the assembly line. Huxeley was fascinated by Ford and his place of power in America.
